






Action-Packed Fun: Interactive ECA Program!
Keep kids curious and captivated with Koaleyos immersive Nature Classes — tailor-made for Prep to Grade 6 groups! Our sessions are packed with hands-on activities, outdoor discovery and learning that feels like play.

All classes are STEAM-focused, encouraging busy young minds to question, explore and discover the wonders of nature. Budding nature-lovers will leave feeling amazed and buzzing with excitement!
Each term will include:

Term 2, 2026: 3:15-5:00pm at West End State School
Mondays (Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays are identical classes) at Room B13
Tuesdays (Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays are identical classes) at Room E12
Thursdays (Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays are identical classes) at Room J32
Student collection: Prep and Grade 1 students will be collected from under L Block – all other students will make their way to the room directly after class. A class roll call will be conducted at commencement and conclusion.

Week 1: Vegetables
Activities:
- Planting plants plus Pamper Pack for Mothers Day: Making a card and a secret gift
Week 2: Natural Jewelry and Decorations
Activities:
- Pamper Pack for Mothers Day: Making two secret gifts
Week 3: Pollinators (more than just bees!)
(Tuesday and Thursday class only due to Monday Public Holiday)
Activity: TBC
Week 4: A native land animal and native sea animal
Activity: TBC
Week 5: How can we recycle and reuse?
Activity: TBC
Week 6: Exploring Antarctica!
Activity: Looking at live footage from different bases
Week 7: Prints and clues of animals in nature... solve the mysteries!
Activity: Dress up as investigators
Week 8: Rainforests
Activity: TBC
Week 9: Bush Tucker and more!
Activity: Basket weaving or making something from natural materials
Week 10: Mock-Camping and learning safety tips with dangerous animals
Activities: Assembling tents, eating damper and marshmallows plus torch light stories
- Quick safety tips on snakes, spiders, jellyfish and other animals (eg how to put on a bandage and use vinegar to help with jellyfish stings)
- Ladybug or Butterfly Release! (parent / carer attendance if possible)
- Plant pots – take home!
- Certificate with Fujifilm instax photo
- Take home bag with stickers
